Justin Foa

President & CEO

Justin joined Foa & Son in 2000 and rose to the position of president in 2006. He is the fifth generation of his family to lead Foa & Son and is responsible for steady and impressive growth. Equally important, he is committed to staying faithful to the principles that have earned Foa & Son the respect of its clients and insurance companies for more than 150 years.

Before joining his family’s firm, Justin worked for more than 10 years with multinational insurance brokerage firms, including Aon Risk Services, where he was vice president in the Mergers and Acquisitions Insurance Division.

Justin earned his bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations from the Insurance Institute of America.

Justin is the president of the Insurance Brokers’ Association of New York State, a century-old organization that provides leadership and education to the insurance industry.

A member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Metro Chapter, he sits on the chapter’s membership committee. Justin also serves as board chairman of The Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding, a non-denominational organization that fights religious hatred. In addition, he is a former president of the Columbus Citizen’s Foundation Young Adults Auxiliary Group.
