As the fifth generation to lead Foa & Son, Justin brings a mix of family business understanding and outside experience to firm. Justin has led the firm since 2006 and is responsible for steady and impressive growth, while staying faithful to the principles that have earned Foa & Son the respect of its clients and insurance companies for more than 150 years.
Prior to joining his family’s firm, Justin worked for more than ten years with multinational insurance brokerage firms, including Aon Risk Services, where he was Vice President in the Mergers and Acquisitions Insurance Division.
Justin earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance and Risk Management from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations from the Insurance Institute of America.
In addition to his duties at Foa & Son, Justin is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Metro Chapter and sits on the Chapter’s membership committee. He also serves as Board Chairman of The Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding and is a former volunteer and President of the Columbus Citizen’s Foundation Young Adults Auxiliary Group.
Justin was born and raised in New York City, where he attended the Dalton School and Stuyvesant High School. He currently lives on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with his family.
